         of art history will be surveyed allowing you to tie them together chronologically.

       Explore elements of art such as line, shape, color, value, texture, form and space
                using various painting and drawing media. We will read award winning children's
                books that use examples of these elements in their illustrations. We will look at fine
                art examples and introduce the lives and work  of various famous artists to see how they
               use these basic art concepts in their art.
